I've been interviewing a lot lately.. and at no point in time, even 'business casual' interviews, did I not wear one. It puts a finishing touch on a professional appearance. I rarely wear a suit jacket, but a shirt and tie is a must, even under a sweater. Particularly for a big company; you want to give yourself any advantage you can to stand out from the other applicants. Of course, you could wear a clown suit to stand out even more.. but I haven't had the bronze testes to try that yet. :)
