| My father (retired Air Force Colonel) was visiting us when Saddam was found. We were watching CNN and when they said troops from the 4th ID had pulled him out of a hole I said "You know that's bull s4!, There is no way a couple of 19 year olds got Saddam." Dad said "And you know as well as I that that is what they're going to tell us happened no matter how many people don't believe it." I agree the Corps would have claimed credit on even a fabricated story if they had done the real work, so I'm thinking it likely was Army, but I don't think it was a bunch of 11M from 4ID. :) I bet I know who it was though, but I'm not telling. ;-) |
