The X server should be correctly configured and the ATI drivers working. glxgears at least gives values that indicate everything should be working. But when I set the opengl drivers with opengl-update it makes no difference if I use "ati" or "xorg-x11". Maybe I should just do it manually somehow. Have to look more thoroughly to it when I get back home.
