Please do not insult me by trivializing my experiences and those of others, belittling me and my professional skills, or other forms of ad hominem, again.

You apparently missed my point, which was a counterargument to your own, overly-broad assertion and the underlying assumptions it appeared to imply. Instead, you diverted to a distant conclusion along a line of reasoning that I did not pursue, and which does not follow necessarily from my counterexamples; trivialized the relevant circumstances and the sufferings of the people involved (myself included, as it happens); and belittled me on the basis of an assumption that is clearly inaccurate, based on subsequent events.

You really don't want to know--let alone witness--the sort of mood I am in, at the moment. Fortunately, my moods don't tend to last very long, and I am not given to being particularly vindictive. However, I must insist on amends.
