I'm back from a church social this evening. Munchies were served. So I load up my little plate with a couple meatballs, some chicken satay, some mysterious puffs, and some mushrooms in what smells like an excellent garlic/butter sauce. I take bite of the mushroom. IT'S NOT A MUSHROOM. It's chewier and gritty. It was escargot. "Heeeeere, kitty kitty kitty!"
