What kind of food for a Party? by MrTrick 2005-03-08 19:44:26
I have N people coming over for an informal party on Saturday night (where 0<N<40), and am not sure what to cook them.

I'm sick of barbecues, plus I don't want to try and drag my four-burner through foot-high grass from the unlocked shed to the paved area. (it's foot-high because the mower is in the locked shed, and I've lost the key)

Any suggestions on what to cook?
It'd need to be something that I can make more of if I underestimate N, or keeps for a while if I over-estimate N and we have to eat leftovers for the next (Nexpected - Nactual) / 2 days. (assuming Hungerguest = Hungerresident)
