you are in a world of hurt and need to pay somebody $your_asking_price in cash right now, not over ten months, and only $5500 won't solve your (unspecified) problem with this other (unspecified) person. Send him to a banker to try to get a loan for an amount closer to your price. If the bank won't lend the money because he's a bad credit risk, why should you?
