Seriously though, pretty much anything I have to say is already available in lots of other books.
What I would like to do, however, is teach a Home Economics class. The emphasis is on the economics - the economics of the "American" dream - home, two cars, two kids, a dog, etc - and the economics of their life (not formulas, practical stuff). I'd love to inspire these people to think about their futures and give them the tools they need to achieve whatever they *really* want in life - instead of what society says they should want.
Of course, there will be a lot of people who wouldn't learn squat, but even the exposure to these ideas would be helpful, I think. |
