thursday is good. by voxwoman 2006-11-19 12:55:59
that's the new moon, and the calendar says it's a good day for "networking", so that's auspicious.

When you "charge" an item, you are imbuing it with your energy. I suppose before you go off charging things, it would be good to practice sensing your energy, and moving it around your body (this is accomplished through visualization and meditation). Once you get adept (or at least comfortable with it), you can then put your energy into items, such as rings, amulets, candles, etc.

the witches' voice has some good source material and links for research.

Daven's Journal contains a course in Magick that is pretty comprehensive. I didn't take his class, but I participated as a "test subject" for people to practice sending energy to help someone else. I've read many of the lessons, and I recommend the course. I plan to actually take it myself at some point, when I can devote the proper amount of time to it.
