5.15 an hour thats it. Thats 3.40 an hour or so after taxes. 40 hours is less than 200 dollars. I had to pay for college makeing that ever tried to come up with 5 grand in 6 months at minimum wage? While paying rent to your family 50and paying for your own grocieries? I busted my tail end off 80 hours a week. I had to find a place that would bust the law that limits a high school student to 24 hours of work a week, so that I could go to college. I was going to school full time (Getting up at 0545 so I could get on the bus by 0630, high school started at 710 where I went to school) and i got off the bus at 3 at my job site and went home around 1 or 2 in the morning getting home at 230 on the weekends I would get to work at 10 am and leave at 2 am No over time all under the table thats what I had to do to go to school. So yea I would like the minimum wage to be higher no one should have to work that damnably hard for that little bit of money.
