I'm starting to lean towards C now, actually; but I'm thinking that it depends very much on whether A *learnt* the wrong pronunciation, or just *pronounces* wrongly. It is, indeed, true that C probably has an easier time understanding A than B would; but we're discussing A understanding B or C, not vice versa.
