According to them it was the newest. (It was the NDIS 2 driver for DOS, if that matters.)

We copied the b57.dos file (that came in the .zip), along with protocol.ini and OemWhatever.inf, to the appropriate directory on the CD, then the bootdisk copied it from there to a ramdrive (because it needs to be writable). The driver loaded just fine (when the bootdisk did a "net initialize", the driver spit out the MAC address, PCI bus info, etc., of the card), but the next thing that happened gave an error, and the network stack never actually came up.
