If we have the Ghost 7 CD anymore, I don't know where it is (I should really find out...). Is that CD bootable? Does it have lots of network drivers available? (Our images are stored on an SMB share on our server.)
Heck, the CD probably has Ghost itself on it, so if it would give us DHCP and SMB, it'd be great because we wouldn't need Ghost Explorer.
Unless you meant run Ghost Explorer from inside Windows -- in that case, no it won't work. We would need to restore the entire machine, including in-use files, and I don't believe Ghost Explorer does that (though I've never tried it). I know Windows won't let you do it (stupid file-locking rules...).
Thanks for the suggestion though! |
