We started using the signs when	by JimK	2005-03-08 07:09:39
Ed was about seven months, I think. We would make the signs when giving him some food or when Sarah fed him, but he was ten months before he repeated any of them back to us. The sign for 'cold' was a major step, as it's not an object he can see. We made this sign when he was crying and we put a blanket on him. It's possible he doesn't mean 'cold' but cuddle or something like that, but we'll have to wait and see.
