Yes, it has great value to Texans (and others) but it's a powerful reminder that we don't always win. It also may have great value to the Mexicans. I think a good solution would be for Mexico to keep ownership of the flag but display it at the Alamo for a few months every year. That way people can see it but they also know that it really was lost to Mexico in the battle.
