Can you upgrade your laptop graphics by whiteknite2005-03-08 05:11:40
  Generally speaking, no by PsychoI3oy 2005-03-08 05:26:00
Unfortunately most laptop graphics chips are soldered onto the motherboard and the ram for them is shared with your system ram (or seperate chips also soldered onto the motherboard).

PCMCIA/cardbus32 isn't fast enough to handle graphics cards, either (unless you want the graphics to be PCI level). The only other expansion cards for laptops are miniPCI and that's the same problem as cardbus32.
