Question: "composite out" on video card by rorajoey 2005-03-08 02:06:32
I have an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro; it has a "composite" video output (RCA), which I've connected to my television with a Monster video cable. The television is able to display my desktop, including any static graphics, but it won't display video.

Specifically, I'm using Windoze Media Player to view a commercial DVD. I've also tried this with the Interactual player that comes with the 8 Mile DVD (and probably other Universal titles). The video plays on my computer screen, but on the television there's just a black box where the video should be.

Is anyone familiar with this problem? any fixes?
