It's actually a chain of different programs, some Winblows (or even old DOS)tools running under wine, some real binaries installed locally, some shell scripts, all tied together by a Matlab script running from the network. The whole thing is set to run say 50 or 200 realisations when I tell it to (takes a few hour) and afterwards I have several GB of junk files I need to delete, interspersed with a couple of files I need to keep.
