The chick that wrote the email did say "spoken with" the owner, but yeah, I'm still suspicious, and I want to be absolutely sure she's seen the letter we wrote.
As far as getting cats anyway.....we can't. We've been reliably told that the owner lives in the area, often passes the property and loiters outside/does garden stuff. Since our unit is on the front of the building, the odds of her seeing illegally kept cats in our big front windows is so high, we just can't risk it. Grumble. |
