Lexmark are clueless about there own products by molsen 2005-02-28 22:52:46
Just had one of my technicians in Australia send me an e-mail stating that Lexmark had advised him to leave the exit rollers off the fuser in their W810 printers. And my Tech actually asked why we are still using these exit rollers. I then had to explain to him that without those rollers the paper will not get past the final sensor causing a paper jam error.

These are the same lexmark techs, though, who decided, that to fix a common paper jam error, with a different printer, that the best fix was to use a SOFTER set of plastic fingers up against the, 180 degree, hot metal roller. And are now wondering why those fingers are being replaced so often.

*off to lexmark with huge LART arsenal*
