Late night, all alone, Just me and my IBM, I connect it to the phone, A high pitched whine on the other end. I connect to another machine, And speak by written word, Where faces cannot be seen, And voices cannot be heard. A friend or two I've found And lost along the way, But since I'm still around, I'll read the mail today.
