vehicle while cycling - destroyed the front end of the bike, too. I was coming home from high-school (too many years ago), going downhill past several intersections (I had the right of way at all of them - this was a main street). A car decides to try to beat me across the intersection - I hit his passenger's side door and flew up onto the roof of his car and rolled off the trunk. Didn't break anything other than the bike. I was very sore for a few days, though. He said he didn't see me. The intersection has good sight-lines, it was a clear day and during daylight hours. The only way he could NOT have seen me ws if he was either blind or just didn't look in the first place. I'm not entirely sure he even stopped at the stop sign before shooting across the road.
