I put some basic security in, like disallowing any request with .. in the path, but the focus was more on the basic socket programming than anything. Features were pretty optional too. For exmple, no header info is returned other than the status line, encoded requests do not need to be handled, POST and all those other methods weren't required, you get the picture.
