...it would actually see release. It was often called Windows Chicago, though. Longhorn XP probably has the XP in it because it's based on the XP code base. Also note that with the registered trademark glyph counted, "Windows®" and "Longhorn" are the same length in bytes, and won't break any buffer lengths or other weird code jumps that may be hiding somewhere.
