What is to know about India today? by UnFair2005-02-28 01:00:21
  A few suggestions by Nath32005-02-28 10:40:38
Very much appreciated. by UnFair 2005-02-28 12:30:02
your tips are the kind of information I'd hoped to get.

I am quite fond of spicy food, as lang as my taste buds are not waving the white flag because of hotness.

I hope to find internet access from time to time to keep in contact with family and friends (like the UFies) and upload pictures.

I will heed warnings about cold food, icecubes and unsealed cold drinks - anyone knows about packed icecream? (Well, I better avoid that too, might be bad for my too-big-a-tummy anyway :-) )

Other places... I want to see some of the area around, I plan to stop by at Bangalore (where Mekkanik_Mike is working as far as I know, I hope to meet him there), like to see some tea gardens, some of todays India cultural life, and the things native Idians tend to visit themselves and I'm interested in history.

As for the traffic: I don't plan to drive on my own - to my knowledge they are infected with the british virus there and insanely drive on the wrong side of the street.

Sorry for the delay, I'm busy packing and had to say farewell to my SO, who will not be with me for the coming 3 weeks. This is the worst drawback of that action - I bought the flight more than 3 month ago, when we had not yet met.
