Since it is a 9mm, there is a lesser amount of recoil to compensate for in the first place. Also, because of the gun design, Glocks tend to recoil more backwards than upwards any way. Given the shape of the Glock grips, shoot them before you buy them if you can. Most folks fall into the love-em or hate-em groups with no one in the middle.
