Question of the Day! by kickstart2006-11-19 12:26:49
  Quiet. Clean. Austere. by Evil_Minion 2005-02-28 00:42:56
Lots of metal, with all furniture, appliances, doors, etc. part of a blank wall until someone with knowledge of exactly where to push, and with the proper DNA code, opens them. They all auto close within 5 min. if not "in use", said timing determined by software closely resembling Windows' screen saver/power management software.

Except for anything I open/close/use, which runs on quite different OSX-resembling software, and is keyed to do almost nothing automatically. I must actually use my brain to decide what I want to setup things to do! No letting stray heroes fox the software (which isn't QUITE the OS it resembles, anyway).

My lair is open plan, no doors, few walls (unless I code for them). Pillars are load-bearing minimum only. Ducts are cleaned by 2" high cleaning bots and just large enough for said bots. My power plant is geothermal, buried under my lair.

LOADS of pretty lights and Big Red Buttons abound. ALL have pretty labels with cool powers ascribed to said button (Self-Destruct, Power Shutdown, etc). My staff's training period will be very long, due to needing them to be aware of which things actually do what. (Rule #1 - all the labels lie....)

Plenty more to describe...
