I dont hate ths US, I know a fair few Americans, My little sister is a US citezen. I lived in DC for more than 2 years.
I dont like american foriegn conduct. I despise bush. I dont know anything about kerry, one way or the other, I dont know either of them personally, and can only judge bush by his actions in power.
I think the US is making a mess of itself, fast.
At the end of this year I hope to be able to travel, do a Ski working holiday. I would prefer to go to colorado, but will probably go to canada, Because I dont want ot have to deal with US border controlls (there is no good reason to require biometric passports and fingerprints).
as for historicall events. Historically, the common people had no contact with the consequences of poor foriegn diplomacy. now the industrial age means that causualty #2367 is actually someone from across the blocks son, not the 12 son from a military family, and beacuse hes 20 and his parents were poor, probabluy means his parents have been dead for a while. |
