that it applies to any sexual behaviour. "What if it's normal and we're just tabooing it on artificial legal grounds?" Does that mean that men whose normal sexual behaviour is to dominate and force others should be pitied and allowed to go around raping people at will?

Sex has two purposes - procreation and pleasure. You cannot procreate with children, and you'll never convince me a five year old kid gets pleasure out of being raped by an adult, in some cases an adult he/she knew and trusted.

Pedophilia wasn't always a crime. In Ancient Rome, where beauty was equated with youth, it was normal and expected to be attracted to children, very young children. But of course Rome was also a place where gruesome fights to the death were a national sport.
