Just because you weren't hurt by McGowan 2005-02-27 09:10:49
doesn't make it right. Just because the situation didn't affect me or you doesn't mean a similar situation didn't hurt your next door neighbour. And because I don't believe that anyone knows what love is when they are 15... ok in my oppinion in many cases a 15 year old in a sexual relationship with someone significantly older than themselves is probably being taken advantage of by the older person. Most 20 year old guys know that they can go out and pull a 16 year old girl no problem and with that knowledge they go out and find a 16 year old knowing that the girl will probably fall in "love" with them. 16/20 is on the border, 15/21 is definatly out.

Look I know some people mature faster than others and there is every possibility that a 15 year old could have the same maturity as a 20 year old but in the majority of cases this just isn't true.

It's kinda like newbie bashing, taking advantage of the beginners!

While I dont believe that this kind of situation should be severely punished, an hour or two's community service never hurt anyone.
