That we talked about here on the board, that brain damage in a specific area of the brain could show up as pedophilia. They even had a case of one man who was a pedophile, got a brain tumour treated and stopped his aberrant behaviour, then years later started behaving badly again and it was determined with an MRI that the tumour had returned. Definitely not the only cause but it's worth noting here. I do believe because of this that many cases of pedophilia can be reversed. I also believe that there is little gain to society to keep those that cannot be treated alive (though I have trouble rationalizing this since I don't like capital punishment). KS
