Ok, Opera 8 Beta 2 is the spiffy. by LionsPhil2005-02-27 07:13:29
  I liked it, though I didn't switch. by Ravenlock2005-02-27 07:37:55
FF didn't do 'session saver' first. by LionsPhil2005-02-27 08:03:44
Did Opera do a list of closed tabs... by Ravenlock 2005-02-27 08:09:17
before this? I thought it only reopened most recent closed tab. If it did the list, my mistake.

I still feel bad you've had such horrible experiences with FF. I've used it since 0.8 or 0.9 - can't remember which, whatever one came out after Opera 7 was in beta (which is why I get into these discussions; I used to be an Opera devotee) - and in all that time, I've had very few crashes and no serious repeatable bugs.

Since 1.0, almost no problems that I can remember at all, across WinXP, Win2k or Linux (Mac was awful before 1.0, but seems to be getting much better). Just a very stable browser that does everything I liked about Opera, plus some more with the extensions. :-/
