However, what is idealised is approximately the age between 16 and 25; this the age range that people already have their sexual characteristics (breasts, other curves; muscle, shaving; general proportions), but do not yet suffer the effects of age, (Which is nonsense, IMHO -- most 30-40 year-olds are handsome.) As far as I know, paedophilia focuses on those of younger age.
I very much agree that today's obsession with youth is unhealthy, but it is probably not related to paedophilia.
