My grandparents and great-grandparents grew up on the farm, where as my grandmother puts it "you were raised grown." They got married at ages that even being only 22 myself, I would call "kids." My grandmother was 16 when she married my grandfather, then 21. A great-aunt of mine was 14 when she married my then 18 year old great-uncle. But...since the maturing rates of people differ, I would say there definitely needs to be a law regulating age, what is labeled statutory rape, etc.
