A "crime" occurs whether or not the victim is aware it is happening. Take, for instance, a woman in coma who continually get's raped by an orderly. She may never wake up to "know" what crimes are being committed against her, but when discovered, the orderly will be tried for his crimes anyway.
In most cases of pedophilia that I've heard of, there is some "don't tell anyone" goig on. This is indicitive of the fact that the perp KNOWS what they are doing is wrong, at least in society's eyes. When you live in a society, you have to live by it's rules. Don't like the rules, find a place to live (when you can) that has the rules you like, or face the punishment for breaking them.
Take, for instance, the much less severe case of a dry county in the US. Don't live there if you have to drink. Or, if you have to drink, you better be prepared to face the punishment for buying your six pack of beer there. |
