pedophilia by dennismv2005-02-27 01:33:21
Pedophilia vs. Homosexuality by monika_krug2005-02-27 02:13:14

I guess that's the kind of explanation I was looking for.

Though one of my psych books was referring to a study that said that something like 30% of abused children had no long term problems after abuse stopped.

I don't think it necessarily always hurts children. i.e. there is a difference between a violent abuser who keeps on going, and someone nonviolent who stops making sexual advances when asked to stop. If all children are hurt by default by sexual advances, then some are hurt less than others. Some may need years of counseling to get over the abuse, while others just get on with their lives as if nothing has happened.
