It's driving me INSANE. I know I read a book in 1979 or 80 that was 90% identical to this [expletive deleted] movie, and I can't remember the name or the author. It dealt much more with the societal changes, but still, it had the New York rescue mission, and it had a cool subplot about dogs going feral, and banding into maurading packs. The whole time I'm watching the movie, I'm thinking "I've read this book" GAH, this is pathetic, I think advanced decrepitude is setting in.
