I saw the movie just a few months ago, and that movie has been on my mind ever since the rains started in late December.
So then the rains start pelting down, followed by a week or so of record-breaking January *heat* in Los Angeles, followed by more rains, followed by intensely cold weather (for LA), followed by these rains resulting in landslides, *tornadoes*, and the most rainfall LA has seen in a single winter season since the late 1800s.
With all the reporters standing out in the streets to report on the extreme weather, I often felt like that movie was on the verge of becoming truth. ;)
Add in to that the reports of extreme unusual weather in other parts of the US, *snow* in southern England... I'm not sure about unusual weather beyond there...
but yeah... tis been trippy for me. :) |
