And your story reminds me of another story

I remember spending a lot of time in the media center at my high school which was equipped with a Mac (this was the early PowerMac era), with a bunch of PC guys around (because the school didn't have PCs a the time, just a room full of PETs and this lone Mac). Yes, we had to put a note on the power button telling people NOT to push it to eject disks (it was located conveniently right next to the disk drive, which wasn't at all confusing to us Mac people who were used to it, but PC people couldn't figure out how to eject a disk if it wasn't by pushing a button). Even with that note there, we often had to slap people for pushing the power button to eject disks.
