it amuses me to watch the CS people here by shminux 2005-02-14 16:43:52
complain about not overly bright users. ISn't this place called "user-friendly"? It's not customer's fault if the system is counter-intuitive and fragile, if the CD drive looks and acts like a coffe cup folder and the OS name is not spelled out visibly like it is on each and every car. Many of the smart and wonderful people I support still look at the router setup as some sort of B5-style technomagic, regardless of the amount of effort put in their "education", i.e. telling them about all the pitfalls of getting your system working.

How often do you find your car plastered with hidden cameras that record your every move (~spyware)? How often do you need to reboot your fridge after putting in a new shelf?
