Would have likely been legal then by DesertRat662005-02-14 11:39:53
I'm not asking about legal, though. by hadji2005-02-14 11:51:26
          Well IMO by DesertRat662005-02-14 11:53:25
I don't automatically assume, though, that by hadji 2005-02-14 12:04:56
everyone follows safety precautions in the manner that they should. I personally know someone who accidently shot someone else in the back (through a wall). He claimed he was cleaning the gun and didn't know it was loaded. Knowing him as I do, though, I'd guess he was more likely playing around with it. Thankfully, the wounded party had a full recovery.

I also used to have a friend (note the past tense) who would carry. And when I took him to another friends house, he took the gun out just to show off. "Look, I have a gun!" And I buried my face in shame.

In a public, busy place, anyone could be of any sort. So how would you know?
