The Kona blends aren't as good as pure Kona. They typically contains no less than 10% Kona bean. They're not bad, but pure Kona is much better. Jamaica Blue Mountain is even better (if you prefer a full flavored coffee). They are both extremely good coffees. The main difference is that JMB has a fuller flavor. Kona is not "weak", but it is "weaker" than JMB. Both have very smooth flavors with NO bitterness (when made properly, any good coffee made badly will result in bad coffee).
