at one time it was legal and acceptable to do. Now it'll land you a felony conviction even if they are unloaded and locked in your car. Which is too bad, there's a good range close to here and a LOT of people in my office are shooters.

My best faux pas was showing my NCOIC my newly finished Sniper Rifle in the parking lot at the squadron...
