At least in the US, anyway... However, I've done the same thing, and not had any problems. Just make sure that the guns are unloaded, and tie the hammer or action open with a ziptie so that any security that comes by can see that you are not holding a loaded, ready-to-use weapon. As mentioned in a previous post: IANAL and YMMV
