When I was a student in college, I once saw an ad taped to one of the library walls about a student who was selling firearms, and described what he had and what he was asking, and his contact info. This, in and of itself, was no big deal. But in the ad, he stated that he would bring them on campus to show them to interested parties. And that concerned me a bit.
Yes, I know about constitutional rights, and yes I support them. The only thing that concerned me was that the campus and it's library did not seem to me to be an appropriate place for this type of business (not the ad, but the offer to bring the firearms on-site). This was a community college, so we're not talking about dorms or anything. Just classrooms, labs, a library, etc. Nothing that would be considered private living space.
What are your opinions on the offer to bring the firearms on-site? |
