They're usually used for insurance purposes, but if all else fails, you can get a pretty good estimate of what it's worth for between $60 and $100 depending on how thorough a job you want done. I got a look-over on my Triumph for about $60. How you want to correlate the appraised value to market value is up to you, but the appraiser can probably give you a guesstimate on that too.
