A good cup of homebrewed coffee by DaNutBall2005-02-14 10:46:23
I've heard that adding salt to the grounds by PsychoI3oy 2005-02-14 10:52:12
can take the edge off the bitter flavor.

Then again, I personally just think it makes it taste saltier, and doesn't do anything for the bitterness.

Obviously YMMV.

Another rumor/thing I've heard is that lighter roasts have more caffeine. Thus a stronger pot of light roast will have more caffeine than a normal pot of dark roast and taste just about the same. YMMV again.
