A good cup of homebrewed coffee by DaNutBall 2005-02-14 10:46:23
While I love my caffeine, I loathe the ~ 300g of SUGAR I take in consuming soda on a daily basis. I am going to stop this stupid practice and save myself from getting diabeties... however, the coffee I grew up with in my household was blacker than sin -- as a concequence, it was more bitter than sin. Bitter drives me beserk -- I don't NEED coffee so strong it could turn a nacroleptic into an insommiac.

I'd rather not put sugar in it -- that defeats the purpose. What kind of brews are available that aren't overly bitter yet taste good? Something that I could brew at home would be preffered... and I'm a college student, so something cheap would be nice too.
