Because this holiday got sooooo over-rated when the masses expect and push (chocolate, roses, and jewelry) that my S.O. feels that I deserve none of these. Even though the relationship is awesome. Oh yeah, not to mention the annoying ringing of "are you getting married?" in my ears all the damn time. It drives me nuts! I can't even watch t.v. right now because all that's on are videos of people getting engaged. My S.O. didn't even say "Happy Valentine's Day" before he went to work this morning.

No offense to those who have just gotten engaged, but hearing about it and watching it on t.v./pc just makes me feel a little sick and like I don't deserve that title. Whatever...it's just not my time.
