Help! Sony Vaio w/Docking Station Network problem! by Myke 2005-02-14 09:57:48
Dang thing doesn't want to talk to the network.

Kept telling me there was no media "Network Cable Unplugged" blah blah

but then I could DHCP it

but it wouldn't actually TALK anything IP (no pings in or out, firewall on and off)

do I figured I'd uninstall the adapters (Bridge and NIC)...

And now it won't redetect the bridge, and it won't do anything on the network at all.

Help?

Sony Viao PCG-R505GL w/Docking station (bridged Ethernet... same MAC on both ports - can only use one at a time)
